We will be having our last free parenting session on November 24th from 6-7:30 p.m. at Veith House. If you are a parent of a Preschooler or a Toddler, come and join us. We will be discussing Health and Safety for your child. If you have questions about vaccinations or other Health and Safety concerns drop in and talk to to us. Child care will be provided. Summer is almost over, school has almost started, and Veith House's CAP site is going back to its regular hours. Computers are now available to visitors from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday and Thursday and from 9:00am to 2:00pm on Saturday.

Hello, and welcome to the new Veith House website!

I am happy to announce the completed renovation of www.veithhouse.ns.ca, a joint project between myself, a student intern with the Community Access Program, and the wonderful Veith House staff. This project was made possible by funding from Industry Canada's CAP through the Halifax Regional CAP Association.

The new website brings with it a new design, up-to-date information about Veith House, a news feed, which you are currently reading and with which we hope to develop closer ties with our community, and soon a calendar of events, which you will be able to check for the latest goings on at Veith House and in Halifax!
